This race is held at north side of Peninsular Malaysia and about 200km from Malaysia Capital City Kuala Lumpur. The track is located near Ipoh City, the capital of Perak State and takes about 2 and half hours to get there from Kuala Lumpur. This is temporary track built indoor inside the Arena Square. Race event scheduled on 1st may (Labour Day) with EP and GP Classes.
The track size is medium to small with longest straight about 40 m. Compilations of 2 small sweepers, few tight corners inside and chicane. Average takes about 18-19 secs per lap running clockwise. The event attended 80 drivers from all over Malaysia with XRAY NT1 being the most popular car.

XRAY drivers lead by BM Marshall Team from Kuala Lumpur went on Saturday morning and we start our practice to get the right setup for next day race.

Qualifying
The groups are randomly pick by computer. At 10a.m qualifying round for GP started, In group 3 XRAY driverâ™s Baha struggle with back markers and only manage to complete 31 laps with best lap for qualifying at 17.6 secs in 10 minutes heat. In group 5 Mahadzir a.k.a Abedey also faced same problem with back marker but manage to complete 32 laps with best lap 17.87 secs. In Last Group another XRAY driver M.Shah managed to get clean run and complete 32 laps with 10.06secs, best lap is 17.93secs and about 5 secs ahead of Abedey to claim TQ spot. In the end of qualifying we have 6 NT1 cars in main final.

Final A main
Due to time constraint, the main final was shorten to 30 mins and started at 6.00 pm. Prior to flag off, pole man M.shah make a very good start to pull away, Baha managed to overtake Abedey on first corner and start to chase race leader. After 2 minutes race Baha managed to pass M.Shah to lead the race and race order for top 3 this time is Baha, M.Shah and Abedey and separated less than 2 secs each other.

After 1st refuelling Bahaâ™s car got some problems with the body shell clipped and pit man take some time to fix it back and drop him to 3rd position with M.Shah regain the lead follow by Abedey. Baha push hard to chase the leader and managed to take back the 1st position just before the 2nd refuelling and lead the crowd until 21st minute when his car suddenly lost control due to electronic failure and he retired from the race.
M.Shah take this chance to lead but until last refuelling when his car flamed out, his pit man manage to start back but when he is back to track itâ™s a little bit too lit when Abedey passed him and their time separated by less than 0.5 secs. The race becomes more exciting when the two drivers try their best to get champion and bumper to bumper situation. In the end Abedey managed to hold the pressure and finish the race at 1st position follow by M.Shah.
